Democracy Up Close: 8b in Action

In the past few lessons, class 8b has taken a deep dive into Germany’s constitutional bodies – from the Federal Government and the Bundestag to the Bundesrat, the Federal President and the Federal Constitutional Court. One group also explored how a law is actually passed in Germany.

Working in teams, the students looked at their topics in detail and turned their research into creative and informative posters. During a gallery walk, everyone had the chance to present their work, ask questions and learn from each other.

Very much in the spirit of “WE ARE HEINE” (WIR AM HEINE), 8b showed great teamwork, curiosity and engagement – and proved that learning about democracy can be both interesting and interactive.
